How often should I change my acoustic guitar strings?
I used my guitar for about half a year … then me lazy and quit smoking for about 2 years. In September this year, I suddenly felt like learning the guitar again, and I've been practicing the chords and things every day or every other day since then. During all this time was the chains themselves. All very well, so I'm not sure if I should change the channels or no. Also, I use the guitar chords of light, right? 0.012MM, 0.024mm, 0.042mm, etc.
How often? It really depends on the frequency with which to play. I try to play at least one hour per day, and I change the strings every month, but if you do not play so often, then you should not waste your money well. If concert often, then it is usually suggested to change the strings every fourth or fifth concert. What to evaluate? This is entirely up to you. Just know this: Light chains (.009 Or .010, and, sometimes .011) are faster and easier on the fingers, but have little tone and break more easily. Heavy chains (.011 -. 013) are more difficult to play fast, but have a great tone and last longer. I personally use .013 caliber nanowebs Elixir on my acoustic and 010 in my Gibson Les Paul, but the String choice is really up to you. try different combinations to get the right feel.
