If you think I'm kidding, take a look at some of these children who are growing lame as there is no tomorrow. Well, there may be a child (much less actually), but I was still able to learn the guitar at the end of life and did it without taking formal lessons from a teacher bored silly. If you want to know how I did, this paper shows a very simple system I've used and works very well. Read on to discover how a middle-aged rocker won the guitar in any time flat.
The first thing we decided was that I did not want to waste my time taking classes, and not when it was pushing 50. I wanted to enjoy the time that had to discover the pleasures of my nylon $ 50 six-string I picked up one of those holiday sales. Heck, I spent more money on dinner out for two. And I did not get to take my place after either. Anyway, I realized I wanted to have fun while learning the guitar. But how will I do if I was bored to death for learning scales?
So I sat and thought, "What would really make learning guitar fun? What was what I wanted to ultimately do? "The answer was simple. I wanted to play the songs … preferably songs that I had grown up on the radio. You know, like CCR "Proud Mary" and other songs like that. So it's just what I did. I dug some guitar chords and some recordings for go along with them and began to learn songs, one at a time.
I started with melodies easy to start. Why? I did not want to get discouraged while does this. I wanted to enjoy my playing time. So easy choosing songs had a good chance it would have little trouble learning. And I had reason. Sure, some of the songs were only three chords. But that did not make their learning or playing with them less fun. Gradually, I began to learn more songs after accumulating enough confidence in the learning easier.
Today, I know about 70 songs and only took me a Just over a year to do it. People think I've been playing for years. The key was playing within myself to start. Follow this game plan and you must succeed yourself.
